The world’s largest association of digital journalists, ONA is comprised of individuals whose principal livelihood involves gathering or producing news for digital presentation. A collaborative community for storytelling practitioners, ONA members champion best practices through training, recognitions, and community outreach.

Leadership programs

Landis graduated from Leadership St. Pete and is a Fellow with Leadership Los Angeles. Each involves educating and catalyzing community leaders across various issues and focus areas in local government, business, health care, utilities, economic development, sustainability, and much more.

Among past and present involvements, education is always a focus. Landis has mentored, coached, managed, advised, spoken to classes and groups, and helped identify paths and connections for emerging professionals via multiple universities and trade associations.

Landis has 20 years experience in professional communications, strategic planning, core messaging, actionable content, and facilitating creative solutions. His background includes various leadership roles with communication/consulting agencies and political/issue campaigns, alongside 12 years of entrepreneurship. With published articles on public relations, and Accredited in Public Relations (APR), he’s been involved with a litany of professional organizations and public endeavors, national campaigns, statewide policy, countywide collective impact, citywide public works, inclusive community development, spotlighting large-scale art, new models in sustainability, health innovations, institutional groundbreakings and openings, product launches, helping establish brands, companies, leaders, more. His work has been awarded internationally.

Heather Grzelka, APR

Partner

Heather successfully navigated the Washington political arena for a decade-plus while serving national causes and organizations, including as the media relations director with the American Lung Association’s national headquarters. She also spent several years working in scientific communications at the American Society of Clinical Oncology where she played an instrumental role in developing the media strategy surrounding the announcement of the world’s first therapeutic cancer vaccine.
